Welcome to the last issue of our newsletter in the twentieth century.

The annual Potomac Valley LMSC meeting was held a few weeks ago. It was nice to see a fair number of new and returning faces there. All current officers (chair, secretary and treasurer) were reelected for two-year terms. All appointed Potomac Valley officers also remain the same.

With the new year, there are a number of changes which will occur within Potomac Valley and USMS. Information on changes in registration, rules, etc. can be found throughout this newsletter.

As of mid-November, I have become the chair of the USMS Marketing/Publications Committee. I welcome your comments and suggestions as to how we can improve our recruitment of new Master’s swimmers and how to keep all of you in the organization. Thanks for your support.
