Germantown Masters’ second annual Lesley Evans award has been given to Marsha Henry and Jim Monks. The award was created when Lesley moved to Arizona in 1999. She was known for her sustained effort in practices, and the award is given to a male and female swimmer each year for hard work and improvement in the team’s coached workouts. Teammates nominate the swimmers, and head coaches Mark Ward and Beth Kremer select the award recipients. Their names will be added to a plaque that will be on display at Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis Club.
