Patriot Masters Sprint Classic Meet

By Drew Moll

On Sunday, October 22, the Patriot Masters will host their "Sprint Classic" swim meet. The meet will include 50 and 100s of each stroke, plus the 200 Free and 200 IM for "distance" events. Also included, but not as part of the sanctioned meet, will be 25s for all the drop-dead sprinters. And for the truly speed-crazed, there will be a 25 "anything goes." The meet will be swum in a 25 yard course set up within George Mason University’s 50 meter competition pool, located in Fairfax, Virginia. The pool has been very fast, with numerous Colonial Athletic Association records having been broken there this last year during the conference championships.

This meet has not yet been sanctioned, but an announcement will be coming out soon. Keep that date open! Warm-ups will start at 9 AM, and the meet will start at 10 AM.
