800/1500 Meter Swimming Meet
Saturday, July 7, 2007, 7:30AM (Warm-up at 7:00AM)
at the MLK Swim Complex in White Oak, MD

  • 6 lane, 50 meter course
  • Warm-up/warm-down area at all times
  • No starting blocks (start from wall or water)
  • Please bring your own counters. Flip cards will be available.
  • Need to finish no later than 12 noon.

    • Sanctioned: by Potomac Valley LMSC for USMS, Inc. (PV# 107-05)

    Rules: 2007 USMS Rules and Regulations will apply. No diving during warm-up and cool down. (USMS Rule 102.4.2 will be enforced).

    Entries: All swimmers must be registered with USMS and must send a copy of their USMS card with their entry or bring a copy to the meet if they are deck entering. If you are not currently registered or do not send or have a copy of your USMS card with you at the meet, be prepared to pay $32 to register (USMS registration available at the meet). Entry deadline is 7/2/07 (must be received, not postmarked).

    Seeding: The meet will be deck seeded fastest to slowest with alternating heats of the 800 and 1500. Positive check-in required by 7:30AM for all swimmers.

    Awards (Terrapin Masters Medals): will be given to the first three places in each age group and sex.

    Entry Fee: is $10 ($8 plus a $2 surcharge for fully automatic timing).

    Deck Entries: (Before 7:30AM only) cost $15 ($10 plus a $5 surcharge). Positive check-in required by 7:30AM for all swimmers. Entries received after 7/3/06 will be considered deck entries and charged accordingly.
